Death Parade: The Long March

Funimation has brought us yet another nugget of goodness.

Death Parade is a psychological, supernatural suspense thriller, that leaves you on the edge of your seat the entire time. It also has a wide variety of colorful characters. First off, one of the central characters is named Dekham. He also turns out to be the most interesting. But, I’m getting ahead of myself. Specifically about what kind of story this is. For you see, the whole anime is about life after death, or what happens when we, as human beings die. Where do we go? Who is in charge of determining this? And further more, are we as human beings AWARE of our own deaths? Now, back to the plot. The setting for this story is a bar called Quinn-Dekham. And believe it or not, this is where judgements of the soul are carried out. Now, I know what you’re thinking: What does a bar have to do with life or death? Well, people always need somebody to talk to. Who better than a bartender? I stated before, it’s not just a bar. And the bartender is not a bartender… Wanna know more? You’ll just have to watch for yourselves. By the way, you’ll never think of elevators the same way again.

Now, for a list of characters:

Life as A Dragon Born

Bethesda Game Studios has outdone themselves once again. Elder Scrolls V: Skyrim is my favorite installment in the Elder Scrolls series.  This dragon-filled expansion was released on November 11, 2011. Fans of the Elder Scrolls series cannot wait to get their hands on this. The developers promised an Elder Scrolls that would surpass anything that came before it. There were so many new features in this game it seemed like Bethesda Game Studios was trying to redefine the whole Elder Scrolls experience, such as :Shouts dual wielding and the park system To give you an idea of the amount of content in the game.  Let me give you some facts to complete the main quest line would take the average person around 31 hours to complete the game fully.  It would take 203 hours, so be prepared to lose a few weeks of your life as you embark on the epic journey that is skyrim

Fun In Dalentarth

Kingdoms of Amalur: Reckoning is an action-packed adventure game, reminiscent of  Fable. In it, a player has many chances to influence the outcome of the story. With the ultimate choice of good or evil. Aside from that, there’s hours and hours of quests and lots of re playability. One problem I do have however, is the fact that the level cap goes up to about 30 or so. Which means you won’t be able to unlock every skill set or ability. All in all, I give Kingdoms of Amalur: Reckoning an 8 out of 10. As an added bonus, I will include the making of this game in this post for anyone whose curious to see what it truly took to make this game the masterpiece that it is.

Anime For The Ages

Hello Everyone,

Today I will be discussing anime. Throughout the years, this genre of animation has inspired the minds of creators to visualize tales that will captivate their audience for years to come. There are many kinds of anime for different audiences such as Romance, War, Horror and Adventure. However, these are only a few categories. One anime I will be talking about is called Inuyasha. This anime is about the love between two people that are very different. One being a human and the other being a demon. The story also explores adversity, corruption  and overcoming outrageous odds. I watched this show because I had never seen a tv show that involved such opposite characters. I like this show because it conveys the message that anything is possible.    Two actors who star in this anime are Richard Ian Cox, who plays Inuyasha and Moneca Stori who plays Kagome. Here are a few fun facts about these actors. Richard is fluent in French and started acting when he was nine. He also starred in Dragon Ball Z as Spice Zaacro. Moneca performed for thousands of young children. She starred in the award-winning Free Willy Shakesphere and Dragon Ball Z.

Neverland- The Mini Series

This mini series is a slightly dark, adventure-packed  story of the origin of Peter Pan. I have to say it is one of my most favorite mini series. It is an interesting take on Peter Pan that I’ve never seen before. Let me explain: The story has Peter portrayed as an orphan pick-pocket with the Lost Boys as his crew. Captain James Hook, a classic character in this tale, is portrayed as Peter’s friend and mentor. He is actually the reason that Peter and the Lost Boys wind up in Neverland.
